How do I register for the tournament?
You can sign up online by completing the Registration Form. Please note that the registration is not complete until the payment has been received.
What is the last day to sign up for the tournament?
We will update on the event website that registrations have closed.
Who can participate in the tournament?
Amateur golfers, both men and women with or without handicap can participate in the tournament.
TOURNAMENT PACKAGE, FORMAT & RULES
What are the dates of the tournament?
The Tournament dates are from 2 – 12 June 2025. Participants are required to arrive on 2 June to enable registration. Tournament rounds are on the 3, 5, 6, 9, 10 & 11 June 2025.
Arrival transfers are arranged from Danang International Airport to hotels on 2 & 8 June 2025.
Departure transfers to the Danang International Airport are scheduled on 8 & 12 June 2025.

Can I sign up for the tournament but not take up the accommodation?

What is the schedule for the tournament?
The final schedule will be sent to the registered participants along with other details. You can also find the schedule on our website Agenda page.
What is your cancellation policy?
The below cancellation terms apply. Till 01 February 2025, the booking can be cancelled without any penalties.
Cancellation & refund request must be made in writing/email
before 01 February 2025: Free of charges
before 01 March 2025: 30% cancellation charges of the total tour costs
before 01 April 2025: 70% cancellation charges of the total tour costs
before 01 May 2025: 100% cancellation charges of the total tour costs
What is the format of the tournament?
Danang Invitational 2025 is open to all worldwide Amateur Left-Handed and Right-Handed Golfers.
We have 2 separate events for this tour. The first 3 rounds is the "Danang 2BBB", so you can lean on your partner if your not having a great hole.
The last 3 rounds is "The Danang Invitational" which will be single stableford, so you should be on your game by then. We have daily prizes for each division including a women division. We also have a best gross prize for men and women.
What are the tournament rules?
The R&A Rules of Golf shall govern all play. Wherever applicable, all Local course rules to be followed. All communication regarding the tournament rules, format, scoring or any doubts or clarifications is to be presented to the tournament committee in writing or in email. In case of discontinuation/disruption of play due to Rain or any other situation beyond the Organisers, the committee shall decide how to proceed and inform the Golfers accordingly.
All decisions made by the tournament committee will be final and binding. The tournament committee reserves the right to make changes to the format etc and announce the same before the commencement of the tournament.
What prizes are available?
Many attractive trophies and prizes will be included.
PAYMENT
How can I make my payment for the Tournament Package?
You can select payment options during the registration process either online via direct link immediately or bank transfer (TTR). You will receive an invoice/receipt by email right after that.
By when do I have to make the payment?
After you sign up for the tournament and receive an online invoice with instructions for payment, you are required to make the payment immediately via direct link or bank transfer (TTR) within 3 days. If the price is subject to an on-going offer, payment will have to be made before the end of the offer period or within 3 days whichever is sooner.
Are all taxes and duties included in the package?
Yes, the prices include all the current taxes and duties for the ground package. But in case any additional taxes are imposed during the course of the next few months that will be added to the price. Please refer to the exclusions in each package for more clarity.
Do I have to pay an additional charge if I choose online payment through credit cards, debit cards or internet banking?
Yes, there is an additional charge of 3% to the total invoice amount if you choose to pay online via Visa, Master Card, UnionPay, JCB & Amex.
GOLF COURSES
What golf courses will I be playing at?
6 Championship Golf Courses: Laguna Langco Golf Club, Montgomerie Links Golf , Legend Danang Golf Club - Norman Course, Bana Hills Golf Club, Hoiana Shores Golf Club (twice)
Do the golf courses provide food and beverage?
Snacks and beverages may be purchased on the course or at the kiosks by the participants and are not provided for by the organizers.
Can a non-participant like a family member or friend come to the golf course to watch the tournament?
No. Unless there is an advanced arrangement from organizer.
Can I rent clubs in Danang for the Tournament?
Yes, you may rent clubs at the golf courses directly at the prevailing rates subject to availability. It is recommended to reserve clubs in advance and it is even better if you can carry your own set.
Will I be provided with a caddie and a cart?
Yes, you will be provided with single caddie and a shared buggy for each round.
Can I use Range Finders during the tournament?
Yes, you can use Range Finders during the tournament but only for distance, not for slope.
HANDICAP REQUIREMENT
What is the handicap requirement?
No limit on handicap. For courses that are not slope rated, the golfer’s handicap will serve as their Handicap Index. If there are any changes to this, we will inform you accordingly.
Which tees will the participants play from?
Men: Blue tees
Ladies: Red tees
How are participants flighted?
Players will be flighted randomly. Players will be grouped, as near as possible, to their ability. (handicap). Where possible players to be drawn with different people each day.
Can I choose my four ball?
No, please refer to the question above.
ACCOMMODATION
Can I choose my room partner?
Yes, as long as both you and your proposed room partner complete the registration formalities. You may mention your preferences in the registration form. In the event that you have chosen the twin sharing package but you do not have a room partner, the single package will need to be selected.
Can I register for the tournament but not take up the accommodation?

Can I book a room with single occupancy? What is the price?
Yes, you can book a room with single occupancy. Please refer to the Event Package Options.
Can I share the room with a non-golfer?
Yes, you can share a room with a non-golfer. Please refer to the Event Package Options.
Can you also book additional rooms for my non-golfing family and friends who may join me during the tournament?
Yes, we can book additional rooms for non-golfers and also arrange for sightseeing and transfers if required. Please contact us apttgolf@apttgolf.com for more details or customized packages.
Does the accommodation package include breakfast?
Yes, the accommodation package includes daily breakfast at the hotel.
Which hotel will I be staying at?
The hospitality package is planned at the Grand Mercure Danang 5-star
Please note that this is subject to change and therefore you may be put up in a similar 5 star hotel.

The Check in time is 15:00 hrs/ 03:00 pm
Check out time for the hotel?

Will I get Early Check-in at the hotel?
Early check-in is not part of the Event package and is subject to room availability. However, at an additional cost, you can get guaranteed Early Check-in.
Will I get Late Check-Out at the hotel?
Late check-out is also not part of the Event package and is subject to room availability. However, at an additional cost, you can get Late Check-out until 18:00 hrs/ 6:00 pm.
TRAVEL/TRANSFERS
Main Event: Which airport in Danang will I arrive at?
It’s the Da Nang International Airport (DAD).
Pre/Post Tours: Which airport in Hanoi will I arrive at?
It’s the Noi Bai International Airport (HAN).
Pre/Post Tours: Which airport in Hochiminh will I arrive at?
It’s the Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN).
Who will receive us at the airport?
Our Airport Representative will be present at the Arrivals Halls - Exit Gate on 02 June 2025.
Do I have to inform you which flight I'm arriving on?
Yes. Please provide flight numbers, time, cities…such as VN134/SGN-DAD/16:45
Will there be a waiting period for transport at the airport once I arrive in Danang City?
Based on flight timings, the number of golfers arriving by the same flight, and visa formalities, you may have to wait to be transferred to the hotel as the transfer is group based and by coach.
How long is the journey from Danang Airport to the hotel?
It is Approx 15-20 mins drive.
Is transportation provided from hotel to golf courses and vice versa?
Yes, transportation is provided from the hotel to golf courses and will be in 45-seater coaches.
Will transportation be provided in the evenings after the tournament rounds?
Transportation is provided as per itinerary. The participants can contact us for vehicle rental fee for personal activities.
Is transportation provided from hotel to welcome function & vice versa ?
Yes, transportation is provided from the hotel to welcome function & vice versa and will be in 45-seater coaches.

What is the mode of transport?

Can private luxury vans be arranged for us?

NON-GOLFERS
Can I take my family along for the duration of the Tournament?
Yes, your family can join you for the duration of the Tournament. We have separate Non-Golfer packages for accompanying non-playing friends and family. Please visit the Events Packages pages for more details. Non-Golfers can also take up sightseeing packages additionally during the tournament days. We can customize the itineraries for you. Please contact us for more details.
Can my spouse accompany me for the Welcome Dinner & Prize Distribution Ceremony & Dinner?
Yes, accompanying spouses or friends who have taken up the Event Non-Golfing package can attend the four dinners as it is part of their package.
Can I bring other guests to the Prize Distribution Ceremony & dinner?
There will be an additional charge for other guests, i.e., guests who have not taken up the Event Non-Golfing package. You can check with the events team on the price and payment.
Can my spouse/guest accompany me to the Golf Courses?
No. Unless that is noticed and arranged in advance by the organizer with additional fees as per golf course’s rules.
What will my nongolfing companions do while I play at the tournament?
While you play golf, your family can take one of our packages designed for non-golfers.

REGISTRATION ON ARRIVAL IN DANANG CITY
When and where will I receive my welcome pack?
Upon arrival in the hotel, please finish registration & receive a welcome pack at 14:00-16:00.
What will the registration welcome pack contain?
The registration welcome pack will contain the tournament details and your welcome goodies; Event t-shirt, cap, yeti, towel, name tag, golf bag tag & luggage bag tags.
Will I be required to submit any other details after receipt of the registration welcome pack?
No.
